KUPWARA: District Youth Services & Sports Kupwara, in collaboration with the District Administration Kupwara, today organized an awareness event under the ongoing Nasha Mukt JK Abhiyan at Drugmulla Tehsil headquarter. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from various sections of society, reflecting a collective commitment towards building a drug-free community.

The event was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, and was attended by the ASP Kupwara, along with senior officials from various departments, senior citizens, and a large gathering of school children. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the urgent need to tackle drug abuse through sustained awareness, community participation, and strong institutional support.

A key highlight of the programme was the administration of the Nasha Mukt Pledge. Participants solemnly pledged to abstain from drugs and to actively contribute towards spreading awareness in their communities.
