KATHUA: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Ramkote organized a special live-streaming programme to enable the volunteers to witness the inspiring interaction “Khelo India Dialogue – Khel Ki Baat PM Modi Ke Sath.”

The programme provided students and volunteers with an opportunity to listen to the Prime Minister’s views on the importance of sports, fitness and the growing role of youth in building a healthier and more dynamic India.

During the address, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of sports as a means of developing discipline, teamwork, confidence and a spirit of perseverance among young people. He also emphasized the significance of fitness in everyday life and encouraged the youth to actively participate in sporting activities. The interaction further underlined India’s growing sporting culture and the opportunities available to young athletes through initiatives such as Khelo India.

The NSS volunteers from BA semester Ist 3rd and 5th watched the programme with enthusiasm and keen interest. The event served as an inspiring and educational experience, motivating students to incorporate sports and physical fitness into their daily lives and to embrace the values of dedication, sportsmanship and healthy competition.

The programme was attended by Prof. Anu Sharma, NSS Programme Officer; Dr. Sunil Singh, Physical Director (Sports); Renuka Kundal; Krishan Singh and Ankush Kundral, along with NSS volunteers of the college.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment among the volunteers towards promoting fitness, sportsmanship, discipline and active participation in nation-building activities.
