JAMMU: Indian Institute of Management Jammu concluded the 19th Batch of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), Ministry of Education, Government of India, at the Vedanta MDP Block on 29th May 2026.

The five-day residential programme, organized by the Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, brought together 12 participants from institutions across India and served as a dynamic platform for academic leadership, collaborative learning, institutional excellence, and professional development.

The valedictory ceremony was attended by Prof. Rajesh Sikka, Co-Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, Dr. Eshika Aggarwal and Dr. Bijoy Rakshit, Program Directors, IIM Jammu.

The Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP), conducted from 25th to 29th May 2026, was designed to equip faculty members and academic professionals with leadership competencies, strategic perspectives, and transformative insights required to effectively navigate the rapidly evolving higher education ecosystem. The programme featured engaging sessions, interactive discussions, peer learning opportunities, and deliberations on leadership, institutional growth, academic excellence, and emerging educational challenges.

Prof. Rajesh Sikka, Co-Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, commended the active participation and enthusiasm of the attendees throughout the programme and reiterated IIM Jammu’s commitment towards strengthening academic leadership and capacity building through impactful executive education initiatives.

Addressing the participants during the valedictory session, Dr. Eshika Aggarwal, Program Director presented the five-day summary of the program and highlighted the importance of visionary leadership, adaptability, and innovation in shaping the future of higher education institutions. She emphasized that programmes like NFLP play a significant role in nurturing responsible academic leaders capable of driving institutional transformation and excellence.

The participants expressed their appreciation for the enriching learning experience, insightful sessions, and collaborative environment fostered during the programme. The valedictory ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and a vote of thanks by Dr. Bijoy Rakshit, Program Director followed by the national song and anthem.

The Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP), Batch 19, conducted from 25th to 29th May 2026, was designed to equip faculty members and academic professionals with leadership competencies, institutional perspectives, and transformative insights essential for navigating the evolving higher education landscape.
