BUDGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired a meeting at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex Budgam to review Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) and PMAY-U 2.0. The DC reviewed the status of cases under the scheme and took their detailed assessment for timely disposal.
He directed the concerned officers to expedite verification, processing and approval of all pending cases strictly in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. He further instructed officers to ensure prompt resolution of bottlenecks and timely disposal of pendency. The DC also stressed adherence to the directions issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to ensure uniform and transparent implementation of the programme.
He directed the concerned officers to strengthen monitoring at the field level and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are provided timely assistance after completion of due verification and other requisite formalities.
He directed officers to maintain regular follow-up on pending cases and submit periodic progress reports so that the scheme is implemented effectively and within the prescribed timelines across all Urban Local Bodies of the district.
The meeting was attended by all Tehsildar’s , Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Budgam, all Executive Officers of Municipal Committees, Project Officer PMAY and other concerned officers.
