BARAMULLA: Following the successful completion of the Under 14 boys competitions yesterday, today marked the beginning of the Under 17 boys' Kho Kho, Volleyball, and Kabaddi competitions at Showkat Ali Stadium, Baramulla.

Nearly 600 students from 18 zones across the district are set to participate in the Under 17 competitions, which will continue until tomorrow. Organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department Baramulla, this event promises to be a showcase of the district's finest young athletes.

In his opening remarks, the District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYS&SO) extended his heartfelt appreciation to the field staff for their tremendous efforts in organizing the event.

He emphasized the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among the youth. The Under 17 boys' competitions are expected to be highly competitive, with students demonstrating their skills and determination in Kho Kho, Volleyball, and Kabaddi.
