KULGAM: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan today visited Chowgam Village in Devsar area and chaired a Public Darbar under the ambitious public outreach programme of the government.
During the camp public delegations from Chowgam and other villages participated in the grievances redressal camp and demanded repairment of irrigation canal, establishment of ITI centre, repairment and macadamisation of Berigam road, construction of Mini-Secretariat building to house various departments, development of playfield, early completion of Hospital building and other demands projected by the people.
All the issues and grievances were listened to and noted for proper disposal. The DC while speaking on the occasion apprised the participants that all the demands were noted and will be taken up with concerned quarters for appropriate action.
Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of the programme is to listen to the issues of the public for prompt and timely redressal. Others who were present in the programme including JDP, Zahid Sajjad, ACD, Syed Naseer, Tehsildar and other officers.
