DODA: A significant step towards improving the health and well-being of students in the Bhalla area was taken today with the induction of newly appointed AAYAS. The ceremony, held at the ZEO Office Bhalla, was presided over by MLA Bhadarwah Daleep Singh Parihar. The MLA personally handed over appointment letters to the new AAYAS, expressing his commitment to strengthening healthcare services in schools.
In his address, the MLA assured the allocation of a dedicated building for the ZEO office and promised to address staffing shortages in schools. He also emphasised the crucial role of AAYAS in providing essential healthcare services to young students. One of the newly appointed AAYAS, Indra Devi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community and contribute to the health and well-being of children.
The event was attended by several education officials, including Principal HSS Ghuraka, Rajinder Singh Bhall (I/c ZEO Bhalla) and Principal HSS Malothi, Inder Badyal. Teachers and staff from the ZEO office Bhalla were also present to extend their support to the new Aayas.
This initiative aligns with the broader goals of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, which aims to provide comprehensive education and holistic development for children. By strengthening school health services, the government aims to address nutritional concerns, promote preventive healthcare and create a healthier learning environment for students.
