KUPWARA: A meeting to review the progress achieved on Mission Yuva Udhayami Vikas Abhiyan (YUVA) survey, going on across the district was today held at Kupwara. On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, M Rouf Rehman emphasized the objectives of the Mission YUVA, a government initiative aimed at fostering sustainable employment opportunities in J&K by supporting the creation of new micro-enterprises, expanding existing businesses and encouraging innovative entrepreneurial ventures.
The ADC directed all the line departments to focus on the key action points to ensure the Missionâs objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. The meeting was informed that 81% progress under the Survey has been made in the district so far. To ensure the accuracy of the data and timely completion of the Survey, the District Administration had deployed 60 Supervisors and 1250 Investigators to complete the month-long baseline survey which started on 01.01.2025.
Meanwhile, the Tehsildars, Block Development Officers, Child Development Officers, besides, Lumberdars and Chowkidars have been directed to extend full cooperation and coordination with the investigators of Mission YUVA to ensure hassle free conduct of the baseline survey. On the occasion, the ADC appreciated the efforts of the officers and field functionaries deployed for conduct of the survey and impressed upon all the concerned to ensure the completion of the Survey within the stipulated time frame. Dy. Director E&S Kupwara, AD DE&CC, besides, Supervisors and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
