JAMMU: Sunil Dimple, President of Mission Statehood, spearheaded a series of vehement anti-Pakistan protests at multiple locations, including Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur, and High Court Chowk. The demonstrations saw the burning of Pakistani flags and effigies of ISI agents, Hafeez Saeed, Azahar Masood, and Lashkar leaders, in response to the recent attack on army trucks that resulted in the deaths of a JCO and five soldiers.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple condemned the attacks, labeling them as acts of cowardice perpetrated by Pakistani terrorists and their local modules and sleeper cells in Jammu and Kashmir. He accused the BJP and NDA government, along with security agencies, of failing to curb militancy in the region.
Dimple called for the resignation of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the BJP government, criticizing them for their inability to control the escalating violence. He argued that the BJP had only politicized the issue of militancy in Jammu and Kashmir over the past decade, taking no concrete steps to address the problem.
"The situation in peaceful Jammu is deteriorating due to the BJP and NDA government's incompetence," Dimple stated. He emphasized the increase in targeted attacks on religious sites and security forces across various districts, including Kathua, Samba, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhadrwah, Basoli, Poonch, Rajouri, and Arnia, citing the rise in infiltration as a significant concern.
Dimple demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah address the Parliament and call for a special session to discuss the militancy crisis in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged the Director General of J&K Police and security forces to initiate an "Operation All Out" to eliminate ISI modules operating within the state.
In a stern warning to Pakistan, ISI, and Lashkar-e-Taiba, Dimple declared, "Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will remain an integral part of India." He advocated for surgical strikes and a potential war with Pakistan to liberate Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) and Gilgit-Baltistan, integrating them into the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dimple assured full support from Mission Statehood to the Indian Army, emphasizing that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would stand by the army in their efforts to bring POK residents into the fold of Jammu and Kashmir state.
Other leaders, including Narender Sharma, Sunil Bamba, Bharat Bhushan Bhat, Vishal Kapoor, Sameer Gupta, Sat, Sachin, Bunty, and Anmol, joined Dimple in the protest, echoing his demands and support for the Indian Army.
