SRINAGAR/ KATRA: At a massive rally in Srinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing attack on the Abdullah, Mufti, and Gandhi families, accusing them of decades of destruction in Kashmir. He blamed the National Conference, Congress, and PDP for depriving the youth of education, promoting terrorism, and spreading unrest.
Modi highlighted that during their rule, Kashmir experienced 3,000 days of strikes, while in the last five years under BJP's governance, not a single bandh lasting even eight hours occurred. He emphasized BJP’s commitment to restoring statehood, development, and peace, urging Kashmiris to reject the politics of division and embrace a future of prosperity under his leadership.
While addressing the mammoth rally at Srinagar, PM Modi said that 3 families (Abdullahs, Muftis, Gandhis) only gave destruction to Kashmir and are responsible for destruction of Kashmir. NC-Cong-PDP deprived the youth of education and gave stones in their hands. NC-Cong and PDP promoted terrorism and separatism and brought unrest in Kashmir. He added that under the rule of NC-Cong and PDP, there was bandh in Kashmir for 3000 days in the last 35 years. In last 5 years, not even 8 hour bandh has been observed in Kashmir.
PM Modi said that the 3 families (Abdullahs, Muftis, Gandhis) always grabbed power by hook or crook and did not allow others to come forward. NC-Cong and PDP running their political shop by spreading hatred and gave stones in the hands of youth.
Pm Modi appealed to the people to give BJP a chance for peace, prosperity and development. We have promised in the Parliament that Statehood would be given to J&K and we will fulfill our promise. 3 families (Abdullahs, Muftis, Gandhis) want unrest in Kashmir, cinemas to be closed, schools to be shut and tourism to go down but Modi will not allow this to happen.
He said that now, there is peace in Kashmir, cinemas are running, Muharram procession is being taken out and there is hustle and bustle everywhere and people are earning their livelihood with dignity in peaceful atmosphere. “3 families (Abdullahs, Muftis, Gandhis) forced KPs to migrate and are responsible for atrocities on Sikhs also. NC, Cong, PDP divided people but BJP is uniting people”, said PM Modi.
He said that today, Kashmir is rail network and many bridges are built for improving connectivity which is benefitting farmers, traders as well as common man. Today, world is happy to see change in Kashmir. Big event like G-20 was held here, Khelo India and Winter Games held here and International Yoga Day is also celebrated in Kashmir. This is Kashmiriyat.
He said that the 3 familes (Abdullahs, Muftis, Gandhis) killed Kashmiriyat and Jamhuriyat (democracy) in J&K for their own vested interests. Now, we AIIMS, IIMs, colleges here in J&K for our youth who do not have to go outside for studies. In last 5 years, 1100 new medical seats have been added, 1500 seats of nursing and 1600 seats of Paramedical have also been added.
“It is MOdi’s promise to free J&K from the clutches of terrorism and fear and give jobs to youth in a transparent manner”, he said and added “We gave laptops and books in the hands of youth but 3 families gave stones. 3 familes (Abdullahs, Muftis, Gandhis) did not hold panchayat elections so that new leadership does not emerge.”
Sacred places like Hazratbal, Charar-e-Sharief, JAmia MAsjid, Shankracharya, Jyestha Mata were not safe under the rule of 3 familes. Nobody dared to hoist tiranga under their rule but now it is hoisted everywhere in Kashmir. 3 families are abusing Aijaj Hassan which shows their frustration after youth have started challenging these families politically, added PM Modi.
Katra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing in Katra, said that NC and Cong have been working at the behest of Pakistan and intend to implement its (Pak) agenda in J&K and want bloodshed here, which will not be allowed to happen at any cost. PM Modi said that the Defence Minister of Pakistan had said that Pakistan is fully behind the NC, Cong and PDP for restoration of Article 370.
“These 3 parties want to implement Pakistan’s agenda in Kashmir and want bloodshed here and push J&K back into the era of terrorism, separatism and unrest,” PM Modi said, while adding, “Modi will never allow Pak agenda to be implemented in J&K”. PM Modi said, “Article 370 is history and no power on earth can bring it back”. He said that NC, Cong and PDP have been exposed after the Pak’s Defence Minister’.
