PULWAMA: A plantation drive was conducted today at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Khrew under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program. The event was organized by the Nodal Officer of 32-Pampore Constituency under the guidance of the District Election Officer (DEO) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom.
As part of the initiative, approximately 50 plant saplings were planted within the school premises, significantly enhancing the green cover and further beautifying the institution. The drive was met with great enthusiasm from both the staff members and the students, who actively participated in the planting of saplings, demonstrating their commitment to environmental sustainability.
This event is part of a broader effort to integrate environmental consciousness into the electoral awareness programs under SVEEP, aiming to create green and eco-friendly environments within educational institutions and polling stations across the district.
