JAMMU: The Synthetic Green Warriors Foundation, a leader in environmental conservation and sustainability efforts, has successfully conducted a significant plantation drive in Samka R S Pura. This initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Sonia Verma, Director of the Foundation, and Reeta Verma, National President, with the enthusiastic participation of NGO volunteers and the strong support of the local community organization, "Volunteers of Samka."
The plantation drive commenced with a ceremonial planting of Rudraksha trees at the Shiv Temple, symbolizing the community's dedication to enhancing green cover and promoting biodiversity. Volunteers of Samka, a grassroots organization known for its efforts in local environmental conservation, played an integral role in mobilizing the community and ensuring the event's success.
Dr. Sonia Verma, Director of the Foundation, addressed the audience, stating, "Our commitment to environmental sustainability is unwavering. This plantation drive is not just about planting trees; it is about nurturing the future. Each tree we plant today is a step towards a greener, healthier world for our children."

Local governance was actively involved, with Ex-Naib Sarpanch of Samka facilitating the event, alongside the participation of Tarsem Choudhary, Ex-Naib Sarpanch Samka, who remarked, "I have always believed in the power of community in bringing about positive change. In recognition of their active participation, community members were rewarded with the distribution of Summer Apple saplings, as well as other fruit and fodder plants. This effort not only supports ecological balance but also encourages sustainable agricultural practices within the community.
The Foundation's team, along with representatives from Volunteers of Samka, also visited Suchetgarh to explore further plantation opportunities and engage with local villagers. This visit emphasized the Foundation's and the community organization's commitment to fostering strong relationships and assessing potential for future environmental initiatives.
