SHOPIAN: On the direction of the District Development Commissioner Shopian, the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) Shopian in collaboration with the Tehsil Office Barbugh today conducted an awareness camp at Barbugh, Shopian. The primary objective of the camp was to educate the youth about the various opportunities and support available through the Mission Youth schemes.

Officials from DECC Shopian provided detailed information on key initiatives such as the Mumkin, Tejiswani, and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative Schemes under Mission Youth. They encouraged the youth to take full advantage of the benefits offered by these government schemes.

To further assist interested participants, DECC Shopian had set up a registration desk to facilitate the interested youth in the process of applying for financial assistance.

On the occasion, Tehsildar Barbugh urged the youth to enroll in the government-run self-employment schemes and assured that similar awareness camps will be held regularly in the tehsil. He emphasized the importance of active participation in these programs to help combat unemployment and foster entrepreneurship among the youth.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting the community’s eagerness to leverage the support systems provided by the government for self-employment and entrepreneurship.
