UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai reviewed the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission schemes here at a meeting held in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex. The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh; Chief Planning Officer, Mohd Iqbal; Superintending Engineer Jal Shakti, R.K. Mahajan and Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), besides Contractors.

During the meeting, DC addressed the bottlenecks faced in the execution of the schemes and asked contractors to coordinate closely with the AEEs for effective execution. She directed the contractors to expedite the current pace of work by deploying additional machinery and initiating pending schemes simultaneously. She highlighted the urgency of setting up a pump station on a priority basis to accommodate mechanical machinery. DC sought a timeline commitment from the contractors regarding the completion of their respective schemes as per the given timeline.
