DODA: Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Doda, chaired a meeting to finalize the Area Development Grant for 2024-25 at DC Office Complex Doda.

Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, DDC Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani Bhagat, council members and officers from various departments were present in the meeting.

 Chief Planning Officer Manesh Kumar Manhas presented an overview of the district capex budget, proposing a budget of 48,833.99 lakh, with a total approved ceiling of 6948.10 lakh and proposed expenditures of 4853.99 lakh.

The BDC plan for 2024-25 was also discussed, highlighting ongoing projects in 237 panchayats. The Chairman emphasized efficient utilization of grants, timely project completion, and transparent communication. A follow-up meeting was scheduled to review progress and ensure accountability.

The discussions also involved the approval of development grants and addressing council members' issues. Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh assured that all grievances would be resolved promptly.
