JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir, suspended Lateef Khan and Burhan from the primary membership of party for a period of two years, following the recommendations of the Party's Disciplinary Committee.
This was shared by J&K BJP General Secretary & Headquarters Incharge Sanjita Dogra in a handout released from the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The decision was taken after a detailed scrutiny of the matter under the chairmanship of Sunil Sethi, Chairman, Disciplinary Committee, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir.
The Committee thoroughly examined all the available evidence, records, and relevant facts pertaining to the case and concluded that both individuals were involved in serious acts of indiscipline, which are in violation of the party's constitution, discipline, and organizational values.
