JAMMU: Peoples Democratic Party has expressed grief and shock over the tragic road mishap near Dachhan area of Kishtwar which claimed three lives of a family and injuries to three others.
âIt is a tragic loss for the entire area and we share the pain and grief of the bereaved family and wish speedy recovery to the injured passengersâ, former legislator and PAC member of Peoples Democratic Party Firdous Tak, said in a statement here.
He said that the vehicle which was on its way to Dachhan area from Kishtwar plunged into a gorge near Tunder leading to the death of a woman and her two daughters.
Tak said that the repeated road mishaps continue to claim precious lives across Jammu and Kashmir but the Chenab Valley remains the worst hit. âBad road conditions, poor law enforcement and other factors contribute to the rapid increase in the road mishapsâ, he said. He urged the administration to provide immediate compensation to the bereaved family and necessary medicare to the wounded.
