GANDERBAL: Police in Ganderbal observed Thana Diwas at Police Station Kangan as part of the Public Outreach Programme. The event was chaired by SSP Ganderbal in which senior Police Officers of the district participated.

The local citizens & youth of Sub-division Kangan participated in the event with full fervour and enthusiasm. During the interaction, senior officers listened to the grievances of the public and assured that genuine Police-related issues would be addressed on priority.

SSP Ganderbal directed officers to adopt a proactive approach against drug abuse and other social evils, uphold the dignity of the force and work with missionary spirit. The public was urged to cooperate with Police in maintaining peace and identifying anti-national and anti-social elements.
