REASI: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting to review the progress of works being executed under the District Capex Budget and Tribal UT Capex 2026-27.

The meeting focused on the status of tendering, allotment and completion of development works being undertaken across various sectors of the district. He took a detailed assessment of the progress of works and reviewed the issues, if any, affecting their timely execution.

The DDC Reasi directed the concerned officers to expedite the tendering and allotment process for all pending works and ensure that ongoing projects are completed within the stipulated timelines. He stressed the need for close monitoring of works at every stage and directed the executing agencies to maintain quality standards and adherence to approved specifications. He called for effective inter-departmental coordination to resolve bottlenecks and ensure optimal utilization of the allocated funds.

He directed all concerned to maintain close follow-up of the approved works and submit regular progress updates to ensure timely achievement of the targets under the Capex Budget 2026-27. The meeting was attended by the ADDC Krishan Lal, CPO Narinder Kumar, ACD Mukesh Sharma, XEN Jal Shakti and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
