SRINAGAR:  In pursuance of the directions issued and in accordance with Rule 3(b) of the MCPC Mediation Rules, 2015, it is hereby notified for the information of the general public that the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar intends to identify suitable persons for being considered for empanelment as Mediators under “Mediation for the Nation  2.0”, to assist in mediation proceedings, particularly in matters relating to Motor Accident Claims, Cheque Bounce Cases, and Matrimonial Disputes.

The identification shall be made from amongst retired Bank Officials, Insurance Officers, Mechanical Engineers, retired Government Officers, and Counsellors, who possess the requisite experience, integrity, and aptitude for mediation and conciliation, and who are capable of assisting the mediation process in a fair, impartial, and effective manner, in consonance with the objectives of the MCPC Mediation Rules, 2015.

Interested and eligible persons may submit their willingness along with a brief bio-data and relevant supporting documents to the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Srinagar, at the ADR Centre, District Court Srinagar, latest by 25th February, 2026. The identification and empanelment shall be subject to scrutiny and approval strictly in accordance with the applicable rules and guidelines. The empanelment shall not confer any permanent right and shall remain valid for the duration of Mediation for the Nation Drive 2.0 ( 90 days) or until modified or withdrawn by the competent authority.
