In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

SRINAGAR:  Divisional Commissioner Kashmir (Div Com), Anshul Garg, today visited Gurudwara Rainawari along with Deputy Commissioner Srinagar,  Akshay Labroo, to review onspot preparations for the upcoming commemoration of the 350th Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, scheduled to be held at Gurudwara Chatti Patshahi, Srinagar.

During the visit, the Divisional Commissioner convened a detailed meeting with officers of all departments to assess the civil, traffic and security arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the event.

He directed the concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during all event-related activities, adequate drinking water facilities for devotees, sanitation, availability of medical services and  deployment of critical care ambulances at the Gurudwara.

He emphasized on comprehensive traffic management, including designation of parking areas for participants and convoys of religious dignitaries arriving from outside the region. Stressing the importance of efficient traffic regulation, he called for a streamlined movement plan to avoid congestion and ensure a hassle-free experience for devotees.

The Div Com also reviewed the security arrangements, both at the venue and along the designated convoy routes, and instructed the authorities to ensure seamless coordination among all agencies. The meeting was attended by Director Health, SSP Traffic and senior officers from all concerned departments besides representatives of the community.
