SRINAGAR: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, an awareness programme was conducted at Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF), Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), Srinagar, today. A large number of students, staff, patients and attendants attended the program. Psychiatrists and Counsellors from IMHANS highlighted various aspects of drug addiction and treatment strategies and other measures to combat the epidemic of drug addiction.

Medical Superintendent, IMHANS speaking on the occasion highlighted the need to disseminate information about available treatments and about ATFs and DDACs so that patients of substance abuse can avail the treatments.
