BANDIPORA: Dr. Bhajan Kour today formally assumed charge as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Bandipora amid a warm welcome by medical staff, officers and health employees at the CMO office Bandipora. On the occasion, the staff and officials extended their support and expressed optimism for further strengthening of healthcare services in the district under her leadership.

Addressing the gathering after assuming charge, Dr. Kour reaffirmed her commitment towards improving the overall healthcare system across Bandipora. She said her priority would be to strengthen health infrastructure and ensure quality and accessible medical services in every part of the district.

She stressed the need for enhancing primary healthcare facilities, streamlining referral services and ensuring availability of essential medicines and adequate staff in peripheral health institutions.
