AWANTIPORA: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police Station Khrew conducted narco raids in the Bathan area to curb the menace of drug abuse and narcotics trafficking.
Meanwhile, a Drug Awareness Programme was organised at Government High School Satpokhran to educate students and members of the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse. During the programme, participants were sensitized about the social, psychological, and legal consequences of narcotics consumption and were urged to cooperate with Police in creating a drug free society.
Police reiterated its commitment towards eradicating the drug menace and appealed to the public, especially youth, to stay away from drugs and support the mission of a drug free Jammu & Kashmir.
