JAMMU: Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura on Wednesday organized a massive "Anti-Drug Awareness Marathon" under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Students, faculty members and local volunteers sprinted through the streets to amplify the message of a drug-free society. The marathon was flagged off from the College premises by the Principal, who emphasized that physical fitness and mental resilience are the strongest deterrents against the menace of addiction.

The marathon was a part of GDC Paloura’s ongoing initiative to create a safe and informed environment for the youth. By integrating sports with social advocacy, the college aims to provide students with positive outlets for their energy and a sense of community responsibility. The college administration extended its gratitude to the local police and medical team for ensuring the safety and smooth conduct of the event.
