GANDERBAL: Continuing its sustained efforts against drug abuse, police in Ganderbal launched a Narco Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) across various parts of the district under the “Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan.” The operation was carried out to curb the menace of narcotics and to ensure a drug-free society.
In parallel, a drug awareness programme followed by a rally was organised by Police Station Kheerbhawani in collaboration with the Tehsil Administration Tulmulla, where participants were sensitized about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of community participation in eradicating the menace.
Furthermore, Iqra Public School Nagbal also organised an awareness rally at Nagbal Chowk under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, within the jurisdiction of PP Nagbal, witnessing active participation from students and locals. Police reiterates its commitment to continue such proactive measures and urges the general public, especially the youth, to join hands in making the district drug-free.
