SAMBA: The spirit of love, gratitude and brotherhood came alive as the girls of Rich Harvest School celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan with the brave army personnel of the Territorial Army (TA) Battalion.
The students tied sacred Rakhis on the wrists of the soldiers and expressed their heartfelt appreciation for their courage, dedication and selfless service to the nation. The celebration beautifully reflected the traditional bond of protection and affection associated with Raksha Bandhan, while also highlighting the special bond between citizens and the armed forces.
The girls conveyed their gratitude to the soldiers for safeguarding the nation and enabling citizens to celebrate festivals in peace and security. The army personnel warmly interacted with the students and appreciated their thoughtful gesture. The students were accompanied by Ms Neha Gupta and Ms Shivani Arora, who guided and supported them throughout the visit.
The celebration was a meaningful and memorable experience for the students, fostering patriotism, respect for the armed forces and the values of gratitude, compassion and national service.
