BARAMULLA: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, J&K Police in Baramulla organised an anti-drug awareness seminar at Gohal Tangpora following the successful conclusion of the final match of the CASCO Tournament.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from players of the tournament, students from local educational institutions, and a large gathering of local residents, reflecting the community's collective commitment towards building a drug-free society.
During the seminar, police officers addressed the gathering and highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society. They urged the youth to stay away from narcotics, adopt healthy lifestyles through sports and other constructive activities, and actively support the mission of a drug-free Jammu & Kashmir.
The participants appreciated the initiative and pledged to stand united against the menace of drugs. Police reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying awareness campaigns and strengthening community participation under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan to safeguard the future of the younger generation.
