KATRA: NCC cadets from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) successfully participated in the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSP) Camp held at Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

The participating cadets were Cadet Bhumi Sharma, Cadet Kashish Sharma, Cadet Abhijeet Goyal, and Cadet Vasudev Sharma.During the camp, the cadets actively participated in a wide range of cultural, educational, and leadership activities aimed at promoting national integration and personality development.

They showcased their talent by taking part in various cultural events, while Cadet Abhijeet Goyal brought laurels to the University by securing the Gold Medal in the Skit Competition. The cadets also participated enthusiastically in the Group Discussion event, demonstrating their communication skills and confidence.

As part of the camp, the cadets visited several historical and cultural landmarks, including the Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Deogiri Fort, and the Adarsh Village Hiware Bazar, gaining valuable insights into India's rich heritage and model rural development. They also attended career counselling sessions, yoga, physical training (PT), sports activities, and delivered presentations highlighting the history, culture, and contemporary contributions of their respective states towards national progress.

Congratulating the cadets on their successful participation, Lieut. (Dr.) Varun Dutta, NCC Coordinator, SMVDU, and Dr. Yati Aggrawal, In-charge, Air Wing NCC, stated that participation in national-level NCC camps plays a vital role in shaping the personality of cadets by providing them with opportunities to interact with youth from across the country, develop leadership qualities, and strengthen the spirit of national integration.

Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, and Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Registrar, SMVDU, congratulated the cadets and appreciated their dedication and achievements.

They expressed confidence that the experience gained during the EBSP Camp would inspire more SMVDU students to participate in national-level NCC activities and bring laurels to the University.
