VIJAYPUR: Dr. Shivali Sharma, Medical Officer, CHC Ramgarh today conducted an enlightening career counselling session under Mega Carrier Orientation Counselling Week for students at Gho Brahmana. Higher Secondary School, Ramgarh Block, Vijaypur (Samba). The event aimed to guide students, especially those from the medical stream, in making informed career choices after 12th Standard. The interactive session covered various career opportunities in the medical field, including MBBS, BDS, Nursing, Paramedical courses, and research prospects.
Dr. Shivali emphasized the importance of NEET-UG preparation, time management, and goal-setting for aspiring medical professionals. She also discussed alternative career paths in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and allied health sciences. Key Highlights of the Lecture includes Importance of NEET-UG for medical admissions in India, Career options after MBBS MD/MS, Super Specialization (DM/MCh), and overseas opportunities (USMLE, PLAB).
She also talks about scope of paramedical and nursing courses in government and private sectors. She gave Motivational tips for students to stay focused and overcome challenges.
