Dr. Narinder Singh emphasized the importance of the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” programme in promoting cultural understanding and mutual respect among people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. He said that the initiative, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015, aims to build deeper bonds among the citizens of different states and union territories. He noted that the programme plays a pivotal role in fostering national unity and a collective Indian identity.

Shambhu Sharan Patel, in his address, made a special appeal to members of the Pravasi population, particularly those originally from Bihar, encouraging them to stay connected with their roots. He urged them to participate in the upcoming State Assembly Elections, underlining that voting is not just a right but a vital democratic responsibility.
