JAMMU: A Sandhya SVEEP rally was held this evening at Bahu Plaza, aiming to raise awareness about voter participation in the J&K Assembly Elections. The event was presided over by District Election Officer Sachin Kumar Vaishya, alongside election Nodal Officers including ADDC Sher Singh and ACD Dr Vikas Sharma.

Addressing the gathering, the DEO encouraged all participants, particularly first-time voters, to actively participate in the democratic process in large numbers. He emphasised the importance of electoral participation for a stronger democracy.

Later, a rally was held from Bahu Plaza to Zorawar Singh Chowk, where participants, including district officers and the public, motivated the general populace to cast their votes and ensure widespread electoral participation.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the public, particularly the youth, as part of the ongoing Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation campaign to promote voter awareness.
