MUMBAI: A festive night out has changed quite a bit. It is no longer just about finding a good DJ, ordering drinks and staying on the dance floor. Hotels and hospitality brands are putting more thought into the overall evening, with live acts, rooftop settings, music-led experiences and entertainment that goes beyond the usual party format. Here are four experiences to look out for this festive season.

1. Deltin Royale, Goa
If you want to pack several experiences into one evening, Deltin Royale brings together gaming, live entertainment, food and drinks. The entertainment line-up includes Bollywood and international dance performances, musicians, DJs and bands, with buffet dining and drinks adding to the experience. It is an option for those who want the night to keep moving without having to head to another venue.

2. Ronil Goa
Ronil Goa brings a different pace to festive nights. The pool, The Hub lounge and the swim-up bar give guests plenty of space to settle in before the music picks up. With DJ-led entertainment woven into the resort experience, the evening can easily stretch from poolside drinks into a late-night celebration.

3. Taj Lands End, Mumbai
At Taj Lands End, the night leans towards cocktails, live music and a city backdrop. Tropics Bar brings live performances to the drinks experience, while House of Nomad has a livelier setting for an evening out. It is a good pick for festive plans that call for music and cocktails without the usual club setting.

4. Moxy Mumbai Andheri West
Moxy Mumbai Andheri West keeps things relaxed and social. You can start with food and drinks at Moxy Bar, where DJs set the mood, and move up to Moxy Sky for cocktails, small bites and views across the city. The different spaces make it easy for a group to spend the evening in one place without following a fixed plan.

The festive season also gives nightlife a chance to become more varied. A poolside evening, live music with cocktails, a rooftop night or a venue that brings several forms of entertainment together can each offer a different way to celebrate. The choice ultimately comes down to the kind of evening you want to have.
