AWANTIPORA: As part of the ongoing efforts to promote cyber safety and digital literacy among students, Cyber Awareness Programmes were conducted at various educational institutions across Police District Awantipora.
During the programmes, students and staff were sensitized about various forms of cybercrime, including online frauds, phishing attacks, identity theft, misuse of social media, cyberbullying, and financial scams. Participants were advised to adopt safe online practices, safeguard their personal information, use strong passwords, and remain vigilant while using digital platforms.
The awareness sessions witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, who appreciated the initiative and actively engaged in interactive discussions on cyber safety and responsible use of the internet.
