KULGAM: To review the progress of digitization of land records and AgriStack data entry, the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam today visited Tehsil Office Devsar and inspected the functioning of Patwar Khana Sopat Tangpora, Patwar Khana Bon Devsar and Patwar Khana Qasba Devsar.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner undertook a comprehensive review of the ongoing digitization of revenue records and the progress achieved under the AgriStack initiative. He inspected the quality of digital records, assessed the pace of data entry, and took stock of the measures being adopted to ensure accuracy and timely completion of the assigned tasks.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of the construction of the sports stadium at Sopat, emphasizing the importance of timely completion to provide better sports infrastructure for the local youth.
Interacting with the revenue officers and field functionaries, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that digitization of land records and creation of a reliable AgriStack database are key initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency, improving governance and ensuring efficient delivery of farmer-centric services. He directed the concerned officers to maintain the highest standards of accuracy while updating records and to complete all pending work within the prescribed timelines.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for close monitoring of daily progress and instructed the officers to address technical and operational issues promptly so that the digitization process is completed in a seamless manner. He also underscored the importance of coordinated efforts among all revenue officials to achieve the objectives of the Digital Agriculture Mission.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the revenue staff and urged them to continue working with commitment and dedication for the successful implementation of the programme. He reiterated that the district administration is committed to strengthening digital governance in the revenue sector and ensuring better public service delivery through modern technology. The visit was attended by Tehsildar Devsar, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars, Patwaris and other concerned officials.
