Police take action against illegal mining in Baramulla

BARAMULLA: Continuing its drive against illegal mining activities, Police in Baramulla under the jurisdiction of Police Post Delina intercepted a vehicle (tipper) bearing registration number JK04C-1750 found carrying illegally extracted sand.

The vehicle was immediately detained and challaned through the officials of the Geology & Mining Department under relevant provisions of law. J&K Police remains committed to taking strict action against illegal mining and appeals to the public to report such activities to the nearest police unit.

For more than 15 years at JK Monitor, he remained a loyal friend, mentor and collaborator, marked by rare humility, intellectual integrity and quiet generosity. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Priya, you will be deeply missed. Your life continues to remind us that knowledge finds its highest purpose in the service of others.
