• Vows to fight for the rights of locals in Samba District

VIJAYPUR: The election campaign of the Apni Party candidate for Vijaypur assembly constituency, S. Manjit Singh has got massive support from the people, who are fed-up with the traditional parties and their divisive agenda.

“The people have put their faith in the policies, and agenda of the Apni Party that gives equal opportunity to all the members of the society irrespective of their caste, creed, region or religion. The people want to cast their votes for a change for equitable development and peace,” stated S. Manjit Singh during an election campaign in Parmandal, Bari Brahmana and other villages of Vijaypur constituency.

The election rallies are being attended by all sections of society, and after ten years, the people are enthusiastic to elect a Govt that would work for their development, employment generation and protection of the rights of the local people, he said.

During all these years, he said that the claims of good governance have proven wrong, and the people were left to the mercy of the arrogant bureaucracy in Jammu and Kashmir.

“The bureaucracy in Jammu and Kashmir betrayed the people of their own erstwhile state by taking initiative and protecting the mining and liquor mafia. The local people, who were engaged in different employment sectors, were left helpless and unemployed after their source of earning was allegedly snatched by the non-locals in the industrial sector,” he added.

He said that if he gets elected as MLA from Vijaypur, he will protect the employment of the locals in the industrial sector and will fight to get it reserved for the local residents only.

“If our resources are being utilized by the industrialists, it becomes the responsibility of the Govt to ensure employment to the locals in these industrial sectors,” he added.

He further stated that the Apni Party has also assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir to protect the natural resources, employment, and land for the locals.

“We will not allow interference of the non-local contractors/mafia in mining and liquor which has snatched the business/trade of the locals,” he added, expressing full support to the people who have rendered helpless in the last ten years in Jammu and Kashmir.
