TRAL: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, an awareness programme was conducted in Zerdiyar village of Tral area of Awantipora to educate the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The programme witnessed active participation from local residents, youth, and community members. During the event, speakers highlighted the growing menace of substance abuse and its adverse impact on individuals, families, and society at large. Participants were urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement agencies in curbing drug-related activities.
On the occasion, a pledge was also administered, wherein attendees resolved to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a drug free society. Police reiterated their commitment to continue such awareness initiatives and appealed to the public to support the mission of a drug free Jammu & Kashmir.
