BARAMULLA: Department of Youth Services & Sports (DYSS) Baramulla successfully conducted Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions across various zones in the district, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students in multiple sports disciplines including badminton, chess, and carrom.
The competitions were organized for different age groups, with students from several government and private institutions actively taking part and showcasing their talent and sportsmanship.
In addition to promoting sports, all events were held in coordination with the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan. Pledge ceremonies and awareness activities were conducted at each venue, where students and staff reaffirmed their commitment to a drug-free society.
The initiative aims to channelize the energy of youth towards constructive activities while spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. DYSS Baramulla remains committed to fostering a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free generation through the promotion of sports and social awareness programs.
