SHOPIAN: Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse and raise awareness among the youth, J&K Police in Shopian organized a series of awareness programmes under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan.
An awareness programme was conducted at Government Degree College Zainapora in collaboration with the Civil Administration. In addition, an awareness rally was organized at Keller in association with Al-Falah School as part of the campaign. The programmes witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teaching staff and officials from Police and Civil Administration.
The initiative aimed to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage the adoption of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. During the sessions, speakers highlighted the dangers of drug abuse, its adverse impact on society and the legal consequences involved. Students were encouraged to spread awareness and promote a drug-free environment in their communities.
Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness drives under the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan, with the objective of building a safer and healthier society.
