- IGP Jammu Sector flags off group of 100 students to Gujarat
JAMMU: The 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir Yatra Opening Ceremony was organized today here at TC Jammu, CRPF. The event was held under able guidance and supervision of IG, Jammu Sector R Gopala Krishna Raoand DIG Manoj Kumar Gupta. R Gopala Krishna Rao was the chief guest. 06 Bn, 76 Bn , 121 Bn and 160 Bn of CRPF Jammu Sector are sending 100 students from their area of responsibility in Jammu for this Yatra.
The Shri Vedic Mission Trust is organizing the 25th Rashtra Katha Camp at Rajkot, Gujarat from Dec 28, 2024 to January 5, 2025. The Chief Guest addressed the children and briefed them regarding the importance of the camp for awakening national spirit, apprising the rich history and culture of India, sense of national integration, social harmony, overall personality development and the programs/ activities held in the camp. He said that during the Katha Shivir, national integration, cultural and personal development, patriotism, national security issues, Spirituality, disaster management, Cultural heritage of India is also taught to students.
At the end of the programme, the Chief Guest flagged off the event by giving best wishes to the students who are participating in the Katha Shivir. Pradeep Kumar Giri Goshwami, Commandant 06 Bn, Arvind Singh Commandant 121 Bn, Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Second-In-Command, Commandant (AOL) 76 Bn, Angam Naresh Second-In-Command 160 Bn and other Officers and Jawans of 76 Bn contributed to make the event successful.
