POONCH: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, on Thursday underlined the need for working in a mission mode to redress developmental concerns of certain regions in Jammu and Kashmir. He was speaking during a public darbar in Mendhar, during which hundreds of delegations and individuals met the Minister and apprised him of their issues and grievances.
Javed Rana said that equitable development of all regions is priority of Omar Abdullah led government. While addressing the public darbar, Rana assured the people of the region of an inclusive development and good governance. He said that aim of the government is based on the idea that everyone has a role to play in transforming their societies. He asked the officers to remain accessible and dedicate themselves towards solving the problems of common people and improving their ease of living. Javed Rana assured the people that all their issues and grievances will be resolved on priority basis. He also issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of the issues projected by the deputations.
