JAMMU: Sunil Dimple, President of Mission Statehood, along with a large number of people and traders, held an impressive rally on Janipur High Court Road, appealing to Amarnath pilgrims and tourists from all states to visit Jammu and Kashmir in large numbers for the annual Amarnath Yatra. Addressing the gathering, Dimple once again urged pilgrims from across the country to participate in the Yatra and explore the scenic beauty of the region.
Dimple welcomed the launch of the Vande Bharat train service from Katra to Kashmir and demanded that a direct train be started from Delhi to Kashmir. He also called for the introduction of a goods train running directly from Delhi and Jammu to Kashmir. Strongly criticizing the Prime Minister, Dimple expressed disappointment over the lack of assurance regarding the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's Dogra state. He appealed to tourists across the country to visit Kashmir in large numbers, assuring them of safety and hospitality.
He noted that the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Defense Minister are personally monitoring the security arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra and for tourists visiting the valley. Dimple also appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to lift the ban on tourist spots currently imposed in the Kashmir Valley. Other leaders present at the rally included Mohan Lal, Lohri Shaha, Arun Verma, Babu Singh, Papu Virdi, Bilo Pahlwan, Kewal Kumar, Sham Sharma, and many others.
