JAMMU: The ongoing Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Women) Tournament 2024-25, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at the Kho-Kho ground University of Jammu.

Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu interacted with the players, inspiring them with his words of encouragement and emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork, and fair play in sports. His address aimed to inspire the participants to strive for excellence while fostering sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The tournament promises to showcase thrilling matches as colleges from across the region compete for the title, celebrating the spirit of competition and unity.

The tournament was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.

The Result of the matches:

  1. GCW Udhampur beat GDC Chenani by 12 points.
  2. GDC Reasi beat GDC Jindrah by 08 points.
  3. GDC Ramnagar beat GDC Hiranagar by 02 points.
  4. PG.Deptt. JU beat GDC Akhnoor by 14 points.
  5. GDC Mahanpur beat Dogra Degree College by 02 point.

The matches were officiated by Sh. Dheeraj Sharma, Sh. Palbinder Singh, Ms. Pooja Sharma, Sh. Jagdev Singh, Sh. Anil Kumar and Sh. Gagan Kumar.

Inter-Collegiate Judo (Men & Women) Tournament 2024-25

The Annual Inter-Collegiate Judo (Men & Women) Championship 2024-25, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, commenced today at the Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu in which various affiliated colleges of University of Jammu has participated.
