The Survival Fight of JK Monitor : For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.), who treated me like a brother and mentor. His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

REASI: In a vibrant display of patriotism, the District Administration Reasi under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik, in collaboration with District Police Reasi and the Youth Services & Sports Department, organised a grand Tiranga Bike Rally today as part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025. The rally was flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar from the historic General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, Reasi.

The spirited rally traversed through the main market area, proceeded towards Jyotipuram and returned to the stadium, carrying the message of unity, national pride and enthusiastic participation in the nationwide campaign.

Over 100 participants — including enthusiastic youth, members of various organisations, government officials and police personnel — took part in the event, proudly waving the tricolour and chanting slogans that echoed the spirit of India's independence.

ADC underscored the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in fostering nationalism and unity. He urged all citizens to join the Independence Day celebrations by hoisting the national flag at their homes, thereby contributing to the nationwide expression of pride and patriotism.

The rally not only celebrated the nation's rich heritage but also served as a powerful reminder of every citizen's role in preserving and honouring the ideals of independence. ACD Vijay Kumar, Dy. SP Vishal Jamwal, DYSSO Tarsem Singh and other concerned officials were present.
