TANGMARG: In a decisive move to bolster grassroots policing and reinforce the rule of law, a Sub-Divisional Crime Review Meeting was convened at Police Station Kunzer, under the chairmanship of SDPO Tangmarg. The session brought together Station House Officers and in-charges from all police establishments within the Sub-Division, including PS Kunzer, PS Tangmarg, PS Gulmarg and affiliated posts. The primary agenda centered around a detailed appraisal of the current crime landscape, operational challenges, and strategic planning for the coming weeks.

During the meeting, SDPO Tangmarg urged officers to adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards drug abuse and criminal elements, while maintaining a people-centric policing model. He emphasized the importance of visibility, approachability, and ethical conduct in every facet of policing.

Officers were also briefed to maintain synergy with civil society, ensure quick response mechanisms, and build a crime-free environment through enhanced vigilance and proactive outreach. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to uphold public trust, deliver timely justice, and ensure that law enforcement remains both firm in action and fair in approach.
