- Local leaders and community members join hands to support educational development in Panthal, Reasi
REASI: In a significant stride toward strengthening the education infrastructure in Reasi district, District Development Council (DDC) Member Rajendra Mahangi today inaugurated a newly renovated classroom at Girls Middle School, Panthal. The renovation was completed with an allocation of ₹4,00,000, aimed at providing a better and more conducive learning environment for students.
Demonstrating his continued commitment to educational development, DDC Mahangi also announced the construction of two additional classrooms, with a sanctioned budget of ₹16 lakh. The project is currently underway and is expected to further enhance academic facilities for the region’s youth.
The inauguration event was graced by Anil Sharma, President of the All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference, who lauded the initiative and emphasized the pressing need for development in the education sector. “Education is the foundation of progress, and it’s encouraging to see leaders like Rajendra Mahangi taking such proactive steps. His dedication to improving rural education is commendable,” Sharma stated.
Prominent local leaders and community members were also present at the ceremony, including Sarpanch Neha Sharma, Rajendra Thapa, Suresh Mangi, Ashu Ji, and the entire school staff. Their presence underscored the strong community support behind these developmental efforts.
Expressing his appreciation, DDC Mahangi thanked Anil Sharma for his steadfast support and consistent advocacy for grassroots governance. “It is through the persistent efforts of leaders like Anil Sharma that Panchayati Raj institutions have gained strength and recognition across Jammu and Kashmir,” Mahangi remarked.
