DODA: The 3-day Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) drive concluded here today with an intensive door-to-door campaign conducted across the District. During the activity, dedicated health teams visited households to administer polio drops to all eligible children and to track left-out and missed cases, ensuring complete coverage and zero omission.

The sustained efforts of the health workforce reaffirm the district health administration’s strong commitment towards safeguarding child health and achieving the goal of a Polio-Free India.

In a joint statement, the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, and Dy Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sat Lal Manhas expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the field functionaries, including officials and staff from the Health Department, ICDS and the ANMT students   for their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in successfully implementing this national campaign.

“The collective commitment and coordinated teamwork of all stakeholders played a pivotal role in making the three-day Pulse Polio campaign a resounding success in the district” they said.
