• District Admin, DIPR organise Nukkad Nataks

KISHTWAR: The District Administration Kishtwar, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) District Center has launched a sustained public awareness campaign to promote Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Intensifying the IEC activities, Nukkad Nataks (street theatre performances) were organized today at Dak Bungalow and Panchayat Lachdayaram, ensuring wider public outreach and participation.

The street plays were presented by artists of Kishtwar Act Production. The artists, through impressive presentations, conveyed the core message and highlighted the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of adopting a drug-free lifestyle. Earlier, similar awareness programmes were conducted at the Bus Stand and the historic Chowgan Ground, drawing significant public attention and engagement.

Meanwhile, awareness sessions on the hazards of Drug abuse are being organised on every Monday in all 13 blocks of the district. The sessions involve resource persons appointed by the administration from eight key departments, including Health, Police, Education, Rural Development Department, among others.
