JAMMU: Jammu & Kashmir Police conducted an interactive awareness session with students at Shree Institute of Education, Karan Nagar, under the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” (Drug-Free India Campaign). The initiative aimed to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

The session was attended by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga, Sh. Rakesh Mani, Chowki Officer Panjthirthi, Sh. Kapil Singh, along with other police officials. The officers addressed the students and shared valuable insights on the dangers of drug addiction, its social consequences, and the importance of staying away from such harmful practices.

At the beginning of the session, Director of Shree Institute of Education, Sh. Suneet Raina, appreciated the efforts of Jammu & Kashmir Police and the administration for taking significant steps toward making India a drug-free nation. He emphasized that such awareness programs play a vital role in guiding youth in the right direction.

Students actively participated in the session, engaging with the officers through questions and discussions. The program concluded with a collective pledge to support the vision of a drug-free India.
